Oshun

This item has been sold and is not available for purchase. $5,400.00

The powerful energy of The Orisha Oshún is simulated in this Powerful piece. Our Oshun is created from Gold, Meteorite, Hematite, and golden yellow Citrine beads from the working beads of one of our priests after 7 years of work. The citrine beads have been energetically frosted over the past 7 years. Each citrine bead possesses a double vortex. Oshún’s energy is very strong yet not invasive, she stimulates warmth and heat in the body and through breath and focus increases the funnel of her vortexes. The collective circuit of all of Oshun’s vortexes resonate one frequency and stimulates powerful movement in the Brain (are of the Limbic System) the first and 3rd Chakras. Like a gentle babbling brook Oshún’s vibration slowly increases to the force of a raging sea. Oshún increases the clarity of mind and body. Oshún is bound by a 22K gold clasp, is 18” long and bears blessings of longevity, inner peace, physical healing, prosperity and general well being for the wearer. Our Oshún comes with the Mantra / Prayer of Oshún.

* Oshun comes with a private blessing and benefit revealed only to the owner.*

Oshún the Orisha rules over the sweet waters of the world, the brooks, streams and rivers, embodying love, sensuality, prosperity and fertility. She also is the Orisha most often approached to aid in money matters. She is the youngest of the female Orishas but retains the title of Iyalode or Great Queen. She heals with her sweet waters and with honey, which she also owns. She is the femme fatale of the Orishas and once saved the world by luring Ogún out of the forests using her feminine wiles. In her manifestation of Ibú Ikolé she saved the world from draught by flying up to heaven (turning into a vulture in the process). Ikolé means Messenger of the House of Olodumare (the almighty God). For this reason all who are to be initiated as priests, no matter what Orisha rules their head, must go to the river and give account of what they are about to do to Oshun. She recognizes herself in the colors yellow and gold and her number is 5. Peacocks and vultures are hers and are often used to represent her.
